DEAF AND HARD-OF-HEARING PATRONS
Assistive Listening Devices
CCBC offers a limited number of assistive listening devices for each show. These devices can be picked up at the Box Office prior to a performance. The Box Office will ask for a license or credit card as collateral while the device is being used, which will be returned to you when the ALD is returned.
ASL Sign Language Interpretation
CCBC Academic Theatre productions provide a designated ASL-interpreted performance on the Sunday matinee of each production. If you will be taking advantage of the ASL interpretation, please indicate in the drop-down on the right side of the order screen, or let the Box Office know, so we can block seats for your party in the appropriate seating area.
For other performances, ASL Sign Language Interpretation may be provided upon advanced request. To request an ASL interpreter, please contact the Box Office at email@example.com. Please allow two weeks' notice, and understand that we will make every effort to provide these accommodations, but cannot guarantee availability of interpreters.
BLIND AND LOW-VISION PATRONS
Full programs are published online and can be accessed from your phone or smart device, and can be viewed in large font.
Provided upon request with the support of Maryland Arts Access, Audio Description offers live description of the play's action and production elements between dialogue on stage. Please email the Box Office at firstname.lastname@example.org with your request at least two weeks in advance of your performance date. We will make every effort to accommodate these requests, but cannot guarantee the availability of interpreters.
